Built from a Love of Adventure
Wild Earth Campers grew from one simple idea…
Life is better when you can pack up, hit the road, and wake up somewhere new.Long before this became a business, it was just Adam and Jess. Adam, an automotive engineering instructor who spent his days fixing, tinkering and teaching, picked up a tired old VW Caddy in 2012 so the two of them could escape to Cornwall on a shoestring. That van took them to festivals, coastlines, wild camps and muddy fields. It was also the start of something bigger: stripping engines, rebuilding interiors, figuring things out the long way around, and discovering how good a van can feel when it’s built properly.
By the time lockdown came, those skills finally had the space to grow into full campervan conversions. One driveway project turned into another, until Wild Earth Campers officially opened its doors in May 2020. Today we work from a dedicated workshop in Wadebridge - still fuelled by that original love of freedom, craftmanship, and problem-solving.

Our Team
We’re a small, close-knit crew who genuinely love what we do. Every skill in the workshop comes with its own passion behind it - from carpentry and carpeting skills to knowledge of audio and electrics

Many of the challenges our customers talk about - needing reliable heating after cold swims, wanting simple systems without overcomplication , looking for clean finishes that still handle family chaos - are exactly the things we’ve experienced ourselves.

Why We Do This
Wild Earth was built on the feeling of freedom - the chance to slow down, explore more, and live closer to the outdoors. That feeling is still what drives us, but today there’s something even better: handing over a finished van and seeing a customer picture their next chapter of adventure.
For some it’s mountain biking weekends, cold-water surfing, or multi-day hikes. For others it’s road trips across Europe or giving their kids the kind of childhood where every weekend feels like an adventure. And for many first-timers, it’s simply moving on from soggy tents and finally getting a warm, dry, comfortable base to explore from .
We don’t just build vans - we create spaces to slow down, switch off and enjoy the outdoors.The long-term dream for us? A cabin in the woods. But until then, we’ll keep building vans that help people live a little more wildly, proudly, and freely, wherever the road takes them.
