Why source your Van through Wild Earth?
When people search for a Volkswagen van suitable for a camper conversion, they often end up looking at tired ex-work vans, unrealistic listings, or vehicles that don’t meet the specification needed for a reliable build. We avoid all of that.
Because we build our own campervans, we understand exactly what makes a reliable base vehicle. Here’s why our approach works:
-
We focus on Transporters and Crafters that are clean, structurally sound and mechanically strong. Each is chosen with camper layouts, insulation, electrics and long-term travel in mind.
-
Once you’ve reserved your van, it’s transported directly to Cornwall. You can collect it from us, or we can bring it straight into the workshop for lining, insulation, pop-top roof installation or a full conversion.
-
You purchase the van through our trusted dealer contact, keeping owners to a minimum and avoiding unnecessary mark-ups. We simply help you find the right vehicle and guide you through the process.
-
Day van, adventure wagon, family camper or luxury long-wheelbase build - we match you with the best base vehicle for your plans.
-
If you’ve been searching for reliable campervan dealers in Cornwall, we offer something different: personalised sourcing and full conversion support from real specialists who build vans every day.

Where Our Campervans Start
Every Wild Earth campervan begins with a carefully selected Volkswagen panel van sourced through trusted dealer networks. These vans form the starting point for our camper conversions before being professionally built into complete adventure campervans in our Cornwall workshop.
Because the base vehicle is so important to the final campervan, we select vans with the right:
mileage
specification
condition
service history
Before conversion work begins.
This page occasionally shows examples of vans we source before conversion begins. Many of these vans later become Volkswagen campervans for sale once conversion is complete.
