Our Fiamma awning installation process
Preparation - We clean and prepare the area before we measure and mark out the points for fixings. We use dedicated Fiamma brackets and mount them to the factory mountings on the roof of your van. This means no additional solid fixings (or drilling) as these fixings will be bonded to the roof.
Awning Rail - If you have a pop-top, this installation process is different – you’ll need the combo deal (which includes a Vamoose multi rail) and dedicated brackets.
Fixing and Mounting - All fixings are treated with primer to prevent any corrosion and ensure no rust. We prepare all bolts holes with polyurethane glue before fixing to prevent any leaks. We mount the awning to the dedicated brackets (these are height adjustable) and secure it using 4 bolts through the Fiamma casing into the brackets.
Handover - We always provide a comprehensive handover and demonstration on how to use your Fiamma F45s awning.

This multi purpose Vamoose awning rail attaches to the side of your van, allowing you to seamlessly attach an awning to your vehicle. Say goodbye to rainwater seeping in, this combi rail will divert rain away from your sliding doors to stop water ingress and ensure a dry interior. Plus, it’s compatible with many driveaway awning and roof rack brands.

The awning rail installation process
Preparation - How will it be installed to your van? We clean and prepare the area, before measuring and marking out the points for fixings.
Self tapping screws are used to create the required holes and then removed. There are 12 anodised screws used to ensure a secure fitting – these go into the side of your vehicle. Before the rail is screwed on, we run a bead of polyurethane glue along the length of the rail to prevent any water coming into the habitation area (no leaks!).
Fixing - We then permanently fix the rail to the side of your vehicle with anodised screws through the pre-drilled holes. Next, end caps are fitted on the front and back of your new awning rail – the rear end cap helps to guide your awning onto the rail and the front finial will help direct water to your windscreen and away from the habitation area (again, no leaks!). We seal around the end caps with polyurethane glue.
Handover - Lastly, we clean the area for a full handover and demonstration of your new Vamoose awning rail.
